I noticed that the extension update package seems to be broken for Joomla 3.3.x.

The target platforms listed in the update manifest are for Joomla versions: 1.5, 1.7, 2.5, 3.0, 3.1, 3.2, and 3.5. As far as I know 3.5 doesn't even exist, and there is no entry for 3.3 so my guess is that was a mistake.

Apparently other people are having this issue and most have just given up on the automated update and simply installed manually. Perhaps this could be fixed easily on your end..
