Resolved Adding Sample Data - Mac

I installed XAMPP successfully on my MAC, now I want to install T3 with sample data.

I downloaded the zip for T3 Quickstart and unzipped.

What should I do now, the demo install video refers to PC, not Mac.

Thanks, please be specific as possible.

Hi James,

well mac is pc too ;)

T3 is a framework for joomla. So you need to install joomla first!

Download last package (or package of your choice) under http://www.joomla.org
Create new folder under htdocs (in your xampp directory). The name of the folder will be your 'site' name.

Unzip the downloaded joomla package into new created folder in htdocs.

Run your site! (just call http://localhost/your_folder_name_under_htdocs)

Now follow http://docs.joomla.org/J3.3:Installing_Joomla!

http://t3-framework.org/documentation/installation#quickstart

http://t3-framework.org/documentation/installation

If you want to install quickstart package in XAMPP, please check the docs:

P/S: there is almost nothing different between installing Joomla in Window and Mac, the important thing is about how to install Joomla in XAMPP.
