Resolved Off Canvas feature: dont close with form inputs in mobile

I found the off canvas great for a filter form. only problem is that when a form checkbook, radio, dropdown, etc. is chosen the sidebar closes automatically. Is there a way to only make it close when a submit button is chosen, or with a user clicked away from the sidebar.
