How can I get social icons like are displayed on this site onto my site?

I tried using http://sharethis.com but the plugin and module didn't seem to work on my T3 site.

Any guidance will be appreciated.

The service on this site: http://sharethis.com is only available for Joomla 1.5 and Joomla 1.6
I suggest you to use service on http://www.addthis.com/

#1: sign up an account on this site http://www.addthis.com/
#2: Get code: https://www.addthis.com/get/smart-layers?flag=login&lb=1 (Click on Generate code button)
#3: Add the generated code to the field "After <head>" under the "Custom Code" tab

You can check how to configure the step 3 in the attached image.
