Hey,

I´m developing a site with joomla 3.2 and t3

I have already started but I got stuck. This is what I got http://stl1.bplaced.net/

My problem is I want the whole Site to be centered like this site http://www.tabtech.de/ an behave responisve like this site.

Right now I cheat by centering the header picture and putting Spotlights under it. Then I left one box empty and started with the second one so that it seems like I centered the site.

Is there a better or easier solution because ists no a good one.

I think ists really complicated to explain my Problem...

Hi philopin,

Please check again .container class. It is the key for centering the site.

I do not know why you set
@media (min-width: 1200px)
.container, .navbar-static-top .container, .navbar-fixed-top .container, .navbar-fixed-bottom .container {
width: 1495px;
}

But it seems not correct here.

.container class will define the width of the website for each screen size.
The content inside the .container class will automatic centering.

Hey,

THANK YOU for your support!

Okay hmm can this be because I changed this:
@gridGutterWidth1200: 5px;
@gridColumnWidth1200: 120px;

in variables.less ?

I wanted that the Columns are always the same size.
My idea was to create a metro design in which I have some squares which are the same size vertical an horizontal.
Im a real beginner so maybe there is a better solution.

If that's not the solution I'm not sure what to change else.

btw. sry for my bad english!

Oh THANK you i got something completly wrong I changed the variables back to default!

I just need to use a Header backgroundpicture which is 1196px wide ;-)
this should be the width of the container when "1200px min" is used :D
